I know I’ve been quiet here for a while, and I have a few reasons for that — one of which I’m finally able to share with you today!

I’m beyond excited to announce that I’m now working with @onedaytests to develop their Women’s Health Service, and we’re officially open for consultations!

All too often women struggle to access the care and attention they deserve, and too often, their health concerns are dismissed or downplayed. Who hasn’t experienced this right?

I’m passionate about changing that, and at One Day Tests, we’re committed to ensuring that women are heard, respected, and fully informed every step of the way.

This is just the beginning, though! I have another exciting career change in the works, and I can’t wait to share more about it soon. Stay tuned!

Waking up to the incredible news this morning that the first baby has been born following a womb transplant in the UK is truly inspiring!

There’s still limited awareness around MRKH (Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome), a condition affecting about 1 in 5,000 women who are born without a womb. From my colleague @andreiatrigorn’s experience, I know that the journey to diagnosis can be incredibly challenging, and the emotional impact of that diagnosis can feel overwhelming. Facing the loss of your fertility is undeniably painful and profound.

This major leap in medical science is pushing boundaries and offering new hope to countless women. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for this incredible advancement!

As my followers will know my absolute passion is, and always has been, Women’s Health.

I am pleased to announce that I have successfully completed the British Menopause Society training and have been awarded the Management of the Menopause certificate.

This certification qualifies me to provide specialist menopause care, with guidance and support for managing complex cases.

The training was tough going at times and incredibly in-depth. I was surprised how much I had to learn, but I am now absolutely thrilled to expand my expertise by adding menopause care to my skill set.

Now, what’s the next thing to conquer………☺️.

Some of you will know that for many years I’ve worked with the lovely company viO HealthTech who bring us @ovusense.

My journey with OvuSense started at my kitchen table 12 years ago. Coffee in hand, I was flicking through a nursing magazine and stumbled across an advertisement for a nurse to advise the company on all things fertility. My interest was peaked when I read how OvuSense helps women identify their fertile window, and could do this for EVERY woman regardless of irregular cycles or PCOS.

I wanted to be part of this, as there was nothing else like it. I immediately picked up the phone and 12 years later I am now viO’s Chief Medical Officer and CEO Designate. What a journey!

I am super proud of all we have achieved in 12 years.

❤️We’ve helped over 50k women understand and become empowered with their cycles and there have been lots and lots of OvuSense babies along the way ☺️

❤️The woman is at the ❤️ of everything we do and many of the team have experienced their own difficult fertility journey, motivating them to do all they do and pay it forward.

❤️We have 13 published clinical papers. One of which published last week could make a difference to the patient journey with regard to progesterone monitoring in an IVF cycle. We’re also embarking on research in to early pregnancy loss, an area as a team we all feel so passionate about.

❤️Our amazing Customer Service team is award winning, providing THE very best help and support to the thousands of women using OvuSense.

❤️Our nursing team provides high class consultations to help women understand what their data means for them and advises on next steps.
