I’m an independent fertility nurse consultant and worked for over 30 years in the UK’s National Health Service as a specialist nurse in Gynaecology, Sexual and contraceptive health and fertility, before 10 years ago founding Your Fertility Journey Ltd.  I hold a first class honours degree in Women’s Health, The British Menopause Society Management of the Menopause certificate and as a qualified Fertility Coach offer my patients much needed emotional support as well as clinical advice.

On top of my clinical work, I support Corporate Organisations to provide fertility wellbeing education and the Women’s Health Industry to achieve excellence. I am currently working with top women’s health brands, companies and organisations to help them reach their key objectives.

When I’m not in my office I’m enjoying time with my husband and our two boys, teaching yoga, at the gym (and unsuccessfully playing golf!) or finding some quiet time in my greenhouse!

I’m looking forward to joining Stowe Family Law I’m looking forward to joining Stowe Family Law on Wednesday, 7th May, to open an important conversation about fertility in the workplace.

Despite growing awareness, fertility remains a topic often clouded by stigma, misunderstanding, and even fear. During this webinar, we’ll be discussing key areas including male and female fertility, barriers to conception, lifestyle factors, fertility testing and treatment options, the emotional impact in both personal and professional settings, and how to support colleagues, partners, friends, and family members.

I’m also pleased to be joined by Gemma Davidson from Stowe Family Law, who will be covering important legal considerations, such as the legal frameworks surrounding IVF and arrangements for children born via surrogacy.

This event is open to everyone, and I encourage you to secure your place via the Eventbrite link.

Looking forward to a thoughtful and informative discussion!

I know I’ve been quiet here for a while, and I h I know I’ve been quiet here for a while, and I have a few reasons for that — one of which I’m finally able to share with you today!

I’m beyond excited to announce that I’m now working with @onedaytests to develop their Women’s Health Service, and we’re officially open for consultations!

All too often women struggle to access the care and attention they deserve, and too often, their health concerns are dismissed or downplayed. Who hasn’t experienced this right?

I’m passionate about changing that, and at One Day Tests, we’re committed to ensuring that women are heard, respected, and fully informed every step of the way.

This is just the beginning, though! I have another exciting career change in the works, and I can’t wait to share more about it soon. Stay tuned!

Waking up to the incredible news this morning that Waking up to the incredible news this morning that the first baby has been born following a womb transplant in the UK is truly inspiring!

There’s still limited awareness around MRKH (Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome), a condition affecting about 1 in 5,000 women who are born without a womb. From my colleague @andreiatrigorn’s experience, I know that the journey to diagnosis can be incredibly challenging, and the emotional impact of that diagnosis can feel overwhelming. Facing the loss of your fertility is undeniably painful and profound.

This major leap in medical science is pushing boundaries and offering new hope to countless women. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for this incredible advancement!

As my followers will know my absolute passion is, As my followers will know my absolute passion is, and always has been, Women’s Health.

I am pleased to announce that I have successfully completed the British Menopause Society training and have been awarded the Management of the Menopause certificate.

This certification qualifies me to provide specialist menopause care, with guidance and support for managing complex cases.

The training was tough going at times and incredibly in-depth. I was surprised how much I had to learn, but I am now absolutely thrilled to expand my expertise by adding menopause care to my skill set.

Now, what’s the next thing to conquer………☺️.
