The OvuSense Fertility Monitor - a little bit of gold dust…..

If you have signed up to receive my newsletters then you have probably heard of this fantastic fertility monitor but if not, I’d love to tell you more. So let me start from the very beginning…….

Just over 2 years ago, I came across The OvuSense Fertility Monitor and it grabbed my attention. Now, I’ve seen a number of fertility gadgets come and go but there was something about this one that was different and stood out. For the first time I had seen a monitor that accurately monitored your temperature (one of the important fertility indicators) but did this more accurately than recording your basal body temperature once in the morning. I was so intrigued and impressed that I wanted to get involved.

So, I got in touch with the company to find out more. I wasn’t disappointed, what I found was a small start up company that put women first. They weren’t in to making bold claims that many makers of fertility gadgets and gizmos do. Not at all, they had integrity. So much so that I wanted to work with them to help them develop their product and have been consulting for them ever since.

The OvuSense Team

We are only a small team as you can see here (I’m the one with the coral trousers!) – carrying guns isn’t part of what we do, it was just a team building day and it turns out I’m a crack shot!

Now I recommend using OvuSense to the women I think would really benefit from using it. If you have PCOS or irregular cycles and want to find out more about your cycle and when you ovulate to help you conceive, this could also be just right for you. Trust me, I am very choosy about what I recommend to my patients and only ever do so when it’s something I truly believe in and this I do.

The Results

I have seen some fantastic results from my ladies who use OvuSense. Some of these ladies had previously been told they weren’t ovulating but now they can see they are. Not only has this been incredibly empowering for them, given them hope and put them right back in the driving seat, but many have conceived naturally! For the ladies that may not be able to conceive naturally they are able to use OvuSense to help them time important blood tests and fertility treatments.

The Added Little Extra’s

What makes OvuSense even more special and unique compared to all the other monitors out there, is the fantastic customer care – in fact I say ‘customer’, but you don’t have to be a customer to benefit from this (another example to me of the company’s integrity). Like my Facebook Fertility Support group, OvuSense have one too. The OvuSense Support Group is for anyone trying to conceive and especially if you have PCOS. The group is full of fabulously inspiring women all battling with trying to conceive but ready to offer up support and virtual hugs. Whether a customer or not, you get excellent clinical support and advice from the technical team and from me (feel a bit weird saying excellent when referring to myself there!).

How to find out more

You can find out more about OvuSense and how it could be just what you are looking for right here and feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions. Oh and just in case you’re tempted, I have a very special discount code just for you! Input fertjourney at checkout for your 10% discount and come and join the fun…….

I have had irregular periods ever since I started having a menstrual cycle. The only time they were ever normal was when I was on BC.. however when you are trying to get pregnant, being on BC is not an option. My Gyno hust diagnosed me with PCOS back in June of 2014 and has had me on Metformin, but only 500 mg once a day. I have been tracking my temperature every morning since June of last year and my Gyno says by looking at my charts, i do not ovulate. He has put me on Clomid and I was on the for 5 or 6 cycles at 100 mg and it did nothing for me. I produce eggs, we have seen them in ultrasounds, and when he did a d&c and laparoscopy procedure on me he seen follicles in my ovaries as well. So we know I produce eggs, just from looking at my basal body temperature chart that i do every morning it seems that I do not ovulate.
I want nothing more then to have a child with my husband, we have been married for a little over two years now, and June 9th Will be six years that we have been together. He has 3 daughters from a previous relationship, but we want a child together so bad. Seeing this,it’s made me a little excited, like maybe there is actually hope for us after all. Do you think this is something that would be good for me to get? Please!! We really want a baby!! Thank you

      Hi Heather
Thanks for your comment and sorry to hear that you are having problems conceiving. Yes, OvuSense will certainly help you determine whether indeed you are ovulating and exactly when. The majority of women with PCOS do ovulate, just not every month. Therefore the key thing is knowing exactly when this is. Unfortunately things like progesterone tests are not reliable in confirming ovulation in a woman with PCOS as these need to be done 7 days post ovulation to be accurate. However identifying exactly when you ovulate is the problem. OvuSense is an extremely accurate way of determining when you are becoming fertile and confirming ovulation with 99% accuracy. To give you some reassurance you have my 10% discount code and the company have a money back guarantee if OvuSense doesn’t identify ovulation after 6 months. So in answer to your question Heather - what have you got to lose? Best of luck and come back to me if you have any other questions. Kate x
