As a Fertility Nurse Consultant, I feel it is my responsibility to provide my patients (and my blog readers) the absolute best and research-based fertility advice there is, and this includes recommending supplements that will help you along your fertility journey. I make it my mission to only recommend and stock in my online shop, the products and supplements that are of high quality and research-based to really help with fertility. For a long time I’ve been looking at various options for Omega 3 supplementation and at last, I’ve found one that is perfect. Lion Heart Omega 3 Fish Oils are super perfect for fertility and also PCOS and Endometriosis. Let me tell you why…………

Why Omega 3 for Fertility?

Omega 3 supports fertility by balancing the important fertility hormones, increasing cervical mucus (which nourishes the sperm to help it reach the egg), help produce a better ovulation and finally help to improve the lining of the womb. Research shows that this fabulous supplement also helps to control insulin resistance and elevated cholesterol in women with PCOS. Omega 3 also helps control the symptoms associated with endometriosis as part of an anti-inflammatory diet.

Where does Omega 3 come from?

The most important types of Omega 3 are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These are found almost exclusively in fish and seafood – particularly in oily fish like sardines and mackerel.

Why recommend Lion Heart Omega 3?

That’s easy and EXACTLY why I choose this brand. Apart from the fact that it is super amazing for fertility; unfortunately our oceans are very dirty places and full of toxins, and in particular toxins like plastics and mercury that are very worrying for fertility. Every batch of Lion Heart Omega 3 is certified and awarded a 5-star purity and quality rating from International Fish Oil Standards. The makers of Lion Heart state that they are the only ones, that they know of, to publish their full test results for every single batch produced. Therefore you can be completely happy that your Omega 3 is top quality and pure.

What’s in Omega 3?

If you prefer capsules then 4 tiny capsules have 860mg EPA and 440mg DHA (the same as a whole tin of sardines). If you would like to try the liquid (which btw doesn’t taste of fish but gorgeous Sicilian lemon oil) then one teaspoon (5ml) has 2,000mg EPA and 1,000mg DHA. Both contain natural triglyceride-form fish oil from wild (never farmed) sardine, anchovy and mackerel and a tiny amount of vitamin E (tocopherol) to naturally preserve the fish oil. The capsules also contain fish gelatin with glycerol BP (no pork or beef). There is no vitamin D in Lion Heart.

Where can I get Lion Heart Omega 3 from?

I’ve made it super easy for you and you can get it right here. I would love to know what you think and what benefits you notice, so feel free to leave a review on my shop page (anonymous is fine!).
